Welcome to the Gray Farm
Hi, Jeff and April Gray here. My farm is located in Gordo, AL in the Speedsmill community. Just to mention a few things I grow, tomatoes, squash, zucchini, cucumbers, okra, eggplant, watermelon, peas and all types of peppers. I have been called the “pepper man”. Along with selling my fresh produce at the market, I also do a lot of canning to make different sauces, bread and butter pickles, Kosher Dill Pickles, Sweet Pickles and candied jalapeños. I am also a proud member of Sweet Grown Alabama.
During the farming season, my produce and canned goods can be found at the New Carrollton Farmers Market on Thursday from 10am until 2pm and on Saturday from 8am until noon.

2024 Garden is underway.
Here is a view of our garden, we planted May 12th this year due to the late freeze in April. I have my main garden and I also have a garden planted in pots with a total of over 100 plants this year.
Above we have planted different types of tomatoes, eggplants, jalapenos and a wide variety of peppers ranging from sweet to hot.

Put any of our pepper jellies and candied jalapenos on a cracker with cream cheese! Its also a nice addition to add as a side item for jalapeno poppers or add to cooked meats for a sauce.
